Does Airnet have collocation facilities?
Yes. We can accommodate servers as small as one U to entire networks spanning multiple racks or multiple rows. Our expansive Data Center offers a choice of layouts for both managed and unmanaged collocation. Our convenient raised flooring center allows for legacy systems. What kind of equipment can I collocate with Airnet?
You can collocate any kind of equipment with us that you like: servers, switches, firewalls, you name it!
Does my equipment need to be rack-mountable?
No. If your equipment is not rack-mountable, Airnet will configure a way for it to be installed in our rack. Items which are rack-mountable should fit right in to our standard rack enclosures.
Does Airnet lease Dedicated Servers?
Absolutely. Airnet can configure a single server or multiple server environment with the hardware, software, storage, and bandwidth that you require. Our clients find that this is a cost effective way to stay current with technology for their operating environment and web servers without having to purchase the equipment outright.
Do you have a monitored environment for entry?
1) Yes, Security and Access control consists of an automated card reader system and camera system that is capable of the following: a) Card reader system is capable of allowing schedules and groups of access to specific card holders including 7 x 24 unescorted access from the street level to the specific collocation room. i) Logging is maintained for up to 3 years for all card system events. ii) Logging includes rejected cards, time stamp and location. b) Camera system allows secure login access to a web enabled image of the facilities with history recording for up to one month.
What about the temperature and humidity?
Airnet Environmentals consist of temperature and humidity control configured in a redundant configuration as follows: a)HVAC Unit(s) consists of Liebert units that can control temperature and humidity within +/-2 degrees / +/-5% including heating if necessary. b)Cooling system consists of Chilled Water system with redundant chillers available on a common piping header so as to support maintenance and service outages. c) Has the capacity to keep collocation room at 72F and 50% humidity by automatic means.
Does Airnet provide any security for my equipment?
If you desire us to, Airnet can provide intrusion from the Internet via Cisco PIX firewall or software firewall at the server level. Airnet prevents traffic destined for the ports most commonly used by viruses and hackers from ever reaching your equipment.
Do I need my own Uninterruptable Power Supply (UPS)?
No, Airnet has Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS's) with a minimum of 3000va per rack and each other rack from Train A / Train B. Power Strips from both Train A and Train B are available in each rack also. If you desire to bring your own UPS, that?s fine, too.
Do I need to bring my own rails?
Check with us to see if your rails are compatible. If not, we can provide them.
What about Disaster Recovery Programs?
Airnet Disaster Recovery consists of nightly backups of all production servers to a backup Storage Area Network (bSAN) over a private 100BaseT backup network connected to each server.
Airnet also has a complete facility of complimentary workstations, communications, and seating arrangements for our clients in the event of a catastrophic event. All you bring is your staff.
Can I obtain more than one static IP address for my equipment?
Yes, Airnet offers additional IP addresses by request on an as-needed basis.
Does Airnet limit my bandwidth? How does Airnet measure how much bandwidth I use?
Airnet allows you to use the bandwidth you need at a cost you can afford. We can limit it if you request it, but Airnet does not limit the bandwidth available to your equipment in any way unless you ask us to. Bandwidth utilization (total GB sent to and received by your equipment) is measured on a monthly basis unless you have chosen a pre-set bandwidth rate.
Does Airnet cap bandwidth at any time?
Airnet can cap or limit bandwidth upon request from you. Many customers wish to budget for a certain amount of bandwidth at a ?not to exceed? amount. Airnet can set a standard bandwidth speed for each customer with a cap or limit if desired.
What is Airnet's internet connectivity capacity?
Airnet's Network Infrastructure consists of multiple fiber entry points using multiple Internet connectivity providers as well as local connectivity providers.
Does Airnet's facilities have protection against fire or theft?
Our facilities have been engineered to exceed requirements for fire suppression.
Airnet Fire Protection consists of an automated FM 200 system that will initiate upon detection of fire without human intervention.
For security, our Data Centers are secured at all times with entry via certified and pre-approved badge readers.
Can I work on my equipment on-site?
Yes. Airnet can supply you with authorized access into our secured and monitored Data Center. Some additional restrictions may apply.
Can Airnet manage my servers for me?
Yes. Airnet performs managed, routine functions such as administering patches, software updates, etc. at an additional charge. Please contact us for details.
Can Airnet backup my data for me?
Yes. Airnet can perform backup via tape, shared server or dedicated server backup ? daily, weekly, monthly, etc. For offsite tape storage requirements, Airnet provides a concrete walled vault meeting or exceeding requirements for most businesses. For details, please contact us.
Can I set up a broadcast email service through Airnet?
Airnet has a registered product for sending email to multiple persons, groups or organizations. Our Broadcast E-mail service is white listed with all providers. Our service allows for up to millions of e-mails in minutes with full statistics.
Can Airnet provided email accounts for my company? What about Mail Bagging capabilities?
Yes, Airnet can provide as many POP email accounts as you need. Airnet also provides Store And Forward capabilities whereby e-mail can be stored and sent to you later in the event of malfunction with your exchange or mail server.
Can I host my website(s) with Airnet?
Absolutely. We provide Static and Dynamic Hosting for clients needing static, My SQL or MS SQL data driven sites. When you can?t afford to have your site go down, call on us.
Can Airnet provide live or on demand streaming?
Yes. Airnet can give your business live or on demand streaming for events, conferences, sporting events, weekly services, graduations, or one time programs. Airnet can provide links from your site for on demand streaming.
